so, this is the time of year where i get spring fever major. but the only problem when you live in minnesota is spring is still two months away. yikes. all i want to do is whip out the mint colored pants, the sleeveless shirts, and flats. but that isn't very practical when there is still snow on the grown. not to mention you will be freezing if you are actually serious about trying to wear that in a public place. so, here i am stuck in my mustard jeans. at least for a few more weeks (maybe we will get lucky with a huge warm front so i can wear my new sparkly flats!) but until then, i will be holding down the north front, fully equipped with sweaters and boots :)
what is the weather like where you live? what have you been wearing lately?
I am in Michigan so I am in the EXACT same boat!! I will be spending spring break in Minneapolis though! Which means that week will be just as cold, if not colder! I was in St. Paul a few years ago in November and I remember thinking my breath froze before it even left my body! Sooo cold!
ReplyDeleteHang in there!!
This Lovely Little Day
oh yes, you michigan folks totally understand!! That is fun that you are coming to minneapolis! always so much to do :) are you visiting friends or family?!
DeleteI am actually going on a volunteer trip! We are tutoring ESL students so they can earn their GEDs! Super excited about it! I have only been out there once before so I hope I get to explore a bit! :)
DeleteI would love for it to be cold for once and there to be snow to show for it!! I'm freezing my behind off down in Mississippi and it's only like 50 degrees! That snow looks so beautiful! Try to stay warm and get through the next few months, it'll be worth it! :) You look adorable by the way!
ReplyDeletecome up north! we can show you what cold and snow feel like ;) it is very very pretty ,just limits what you can wear :) hah! thank you very much!!
DeleteI know what you mean about not being able to wait for spring (the wind sounds like it's blowing the world away outside of my window!). As much as I love boots, I can't wait for it to be warm enough to justify buying some new flats.
ReplyDeleteI do love the outfit, though!

DeleteIt has been really sunny here the last couple of weeks, with temps it the 50s! It's been so nice, but starting tomorrow, until who know how long, the rain will be here. So my wintry clothes aren't going anywhere yet either!
ReplyDeleteah 50s!!! that would be so nice, but then it is hard when it gets colder again, good luck and stay dry!
DeleteI'm with you on this one. We're still recovering from the blizzard in CT and it was so ridiculously cold today it was almost painful! I LOVE snow but I'm ready for some spring temps and clothing. Love the pants, by the way! Still need to get me a pair of those!
