Pork Chops

2.25.2012

Growing up my family did not eat a lot of pork but once I started cooking in my kitchen I began seeking out another alternative to chicken. Pork chops aren't too high in fat and are considered a good source of protein. So I have begun the experimenting process of making tasty pork chop recipes!  I recently made one in the slow cooker, which is always good alternative for those living a busy lifestyle!

Pork-chop with savory sauce
4 medium pork chops
1 can  cream of mushroom
2 tsp. lawry seasoning
1 tsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. fresh ground pepper
1 medium yellow onion- cut into slices

1. Brown pork chops on a skillet
2. Mix cream of mushroom, lawry seasoning, garlic, oregano, pepper, and onion into a crock pot
3. Add chops to the pot

I made the cookiesfor both Chad and my book club ladies (meg, casey, kate) and everyone liked them! Especially the boy!
